I live in the far north of the city and usually when Im searching for food, the local restaurants come up first. However when I ordred my food, the location was in the south of the city so I cancelled it immediately. The next morning I received a message from uber eats saying there will be no refund as the merchant already began to prepare the food. I spoke with Uber eats and they said there would be no refund. The reason why i cancelled it right away was there was no way a driver would of picked it up and drive 45 minutes. I cancelled my uber eats account as there customer service is horrible and wont do business with them again.
