i have a multi-fuel stove which I run 24/7 for 8-months of the year. I mainly use anthracite as its slow burning and generates a steady heat. I first became aware of Heat Logs through an ALDI promotion. I found that I could use them on top of my anthracite base as a cost effective way of heating my house.. They take some 2-3 hrs to burn through and during that time give a real boost to the heat output of the stove. I usually put 2 into my stove first thing (when i refill with anthracite) and then again early evening. I recently bought a pallet load. They came a good price and prefer using them to my hard wood logs which burn too quickly.
