I am more than happy to write this review to help prospective visa applicants make the best decision by choosing this firm to handle their visa applications, irrespective of the class of visa. Our Journey and Experience with Ijaz Ahmed Solicitor. In March 2020, I and my family had a Tier 4 student visa and this was due to expire in April 2020. Through a friend's recommendation, we met an immigration lawyer based in London and this guy is from my country and we thought we were in the best hands but on our first consultation with this solicitor, we found out that he is not the best to handle our case as he was not willing to listen to our stories with empathy and patient. As an applicant who was curious not to breach the immigration rules of overstaying, I had lots of questions begging for answers which made me to be ringing the lawyer constantly for advise. These my consistent phone calls got him upset and at that point I realised that his shoulder isn't the best for my family to rely on. I came back home and prayed and told God to guide me as I search through the internet for the best lawyer to handle our immigration matter. I found Ijaz Ahmed Solicitor and I had my first consultations with Bilal who assigned Ijaz Ahmed to be my caseworker. On my first arrival to their office in Manchester, I saw loads of THANK YOU CARDS hung on the 4 corners of the office and I quickly said to myself, very soon I will come back here to hang my own THANK YOU CARD. I had the confidence in myself that I have found the best solicitor even before engaging into oral discussion with Bilal. I had peace like a river!!! These men here are trustworthy and they know the job to the latter. Bilal told us the UK visa fees for the type of visa we are applying for which is (£8000 excluding their Office service fees). This money is quite a lot. To my greatest surprise, Bilal advised we should first apply for Visa fee waiver to try our luck. He advised on all the documentation he will need to submit the waiver application. All these documentation I gathered them within few days and Ijaz arranged and wrote a 4 page supporting document on why Home Office should please grant us the fee waiver. I thought it was a joke. By April 2020, the application for the UK visa fee waiver of £8,000 was submitted by Ijaz. At this point we kept hoping and praying for the best. By June 2020, Home Office replied with a positive decision- Visa fee waiver GRANTED!!!!!!!!!! It was like a dream. We give God the glory and sincerely thanked Bilal and Ijaz for the advice. With the voucher code for the waiver, Home Office advised we apply for the main application (Further Leave to Remain based on Family Private Life- Leave Outside the Immigration Rules). This we did in July 2020 and Ijaz and his team wrote 12 pages supporting documents on why Home Office should passionately grant us the visa. By September 2020, Home Office invited us for finger prints capturing for the BRP and also granted us Travel Grant for the appointment in Liverpool. We were very excited. On 24th December 2020, I got a call from Ijaz (this guy really played on my emotions but all for good anyway-smiles). During this call, he broke the good news to us, saying that our visa application for Further Leave to Remain has been positively granted and he congratulated us. And all the necessary documents from Home Office were emailed to us. I have taken time to summarise our positive experience with this highly skilled law firm.
