I received few items from the toughmaster brand and after unpacking the first one, I was disappointed to find that the quality was so poor, after a few attempts it was unusable for me. I didn’t bother opening the other items, they were likely of similar quality. I contacted ukplanettools to explain the situation and offered to return unopened items while keeping the one I had already opened. Unfortunately my return request was rejected and then they want me to pay for return shipping - around half the value of the items, despite the large size of the box and the fact that I don’t have a contract with any courier. Before purchasing, they were quick to respond to emails but their after-sales service has been a nightmare. It’s simply not worth ordering from them, as they don’t offer free returns and their collection service can cost up to £20 per box. This feels like an unfair policy and I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them. Sorry, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and trying to buy next dewalt, milwaukee etc. tools at powertoolmate.
