Returned a faulty tool over a month ago it was faulty from new but because I didn’t unbox it for 30 days and didn’t use magic to know it was faulty apparently they won’t replace it. I’ve called them 3 times to be fobbed off today they were meant to call me back surprise they didn’t. Don’t buy from them”

“I received few items from the toughmaster brand and after unpacking the first one, I was disappointed to find that the quality was so poor, after a few attempts it was unusable for me. I didn’t bother opening the other items, they were likely of similar quality. I contacted ukplanettools to explain the situation and offered to return unopened items while keeping the one I had already opened. Unfortunately my return request was rejected and then they want me to pay for return shipping - around half the value of the items, despite the large size of the box and the fact that I don’t have a contract with any courier.
Before purchasing, they were quick to respond to emails but their after-sales service has been a nightmare. It’s simply not worth ordering from them, as they don’t offer free returns and their collection service can cost up to £20 per box. This feels like an unfair policy and I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them.
Sorry, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and trying to buy next dewalt, milwaukee etc. tools at powertoolmate.”

They stalled & stalled, using the fact that I was a week over the year guarantee. In the end, I had to threaten bad publicity & Govt Ombudsman to get a proper response. It was Amazon who saved the day, giving me a full refund.”

Call them up and they said they going to send a replacement. But they also haven’t sent anything and now they send me another email saying I have to send this one first and I can have refund because they don’t have it in stock absolute waste of time!! “They advertised a product that doesn't exist but took my money anyway. They then took nearly 3 weeks to refund me which stinks. Is this a company that has cashflow problems? That might be why my refund was delayed, to help their own cashflow. I was at first told that as an apology I would receive a discount on any future purchase but no discount was ever forthcoming. I was then told that the Managing Director would let me know how the company would make it up to me. Guess what? Never heard a thing from them after that. Is this a company full of incompetents, cowboys, or people making a string of genuine but unfortunate mistakes? I think I know the answer. The service culture in this country is rotten to the core and in the centre of that core are companies like this. My advice is to avoid UKPlanetTools like the plague. Tools indeed...”
