I am very new to the online learning platform, 30 years since I last studied anything of this magnitude, and so far I am extremely impressed with Swinburne Open Education. I had great service right from the start with a course consultant, guidance on how to navigate the system and find everything I need to get on with y course. The interaction I have had with my first trainer/ assessor has been fantastic and I am thankful her all her guidance. The forum to be able to chat with fellow students has been great as it has helped me see that when I have been stuck, I'm not alone. I have set myself a study plan and a finish date and so far I have been able to stick to it even though I work full-time and have a family at home. I finished my first module & submitted the two assessments with trepidation but my trainer/assessor marked and commented so quickly that my mind has been put at ease and I am looking forward to starting the next module.
