Overall it's great for self-paced learning. Great that's there's no fixed time structure and students can complete their modules as quickly or slowly as they desire/are able to with their schedules.
Negatives are that you cannot progress to the next module without submitting all the previous assessments first. That would normally be okay however majority of the assessments involve other people's input (e.g. roleplay with other people, roleplay with assessor, assessor's review). This significantly slows down the pace of completing the modules due to needing to wait on other people. It does provide a break for students but for those who want to continue through as quickly as possible, it holds us back.
