I ordered a washer fluid resivour for my MK6 GTI. When I took it to the mechanic for installation, he pointed out the the part had an extra hole in it making it non usable. It was an exact replica of the old tank, only it had and extra hole it in (see picture).
Having the front fender already off, I had to use the old tank with the plastic tubing the new part came with.
