The kit is exactly what you need when your temperature sensor/housing or crackpipe go bad. Unfortunately the temperature sensor that was sent to me was warped and leaked since it could seal well. I had put it back in and filled the engine with coolant. I had to take everything apart and wasted a whole lot of coolant and time. I used the original temperature housing and it had no leaks and runs well 100 miles after the job.
