I ordered a crankcase vent valve for my 2001 Jetta TDI, part #028129101e. It is Vaico by brand and advertised as "straight from Germany". I received the box. It is clearly labeled "made in China". I don't want Chinese junk on my VW, but if I had to do it, I'd feel myself remiss if I paid 3X the going price of the Chinese stuff, and still ended up with that sort of quality on my car. To their credit, Uro Tuning responded when I informed them of the situation, but to this point nothing has actually been done to resolve the problem that I paid for German and ended up with Chinese. I haven't actually put the part on the car, so for all I know, it might actually work. I really don't want to find out though. My bigger concern is whether UroTuning actually knows where the parts it sells come from. Without that resolved, it will be pretty scary to buy anything else from them.
