The oil pan was a disappointment. I originally ordered the pan with no adapter for the oil return line (your website states the line may need replacing to fit pan, but nothing about the adapter flange available). I waited another week to install the return pipe. When I attempted to install the adapter, it didn’t fit in the aluminum casting and I had to scrape away some of the lip to fit the adapter; even after this the gasket didn’t fit between the adapter and pan. Also to my disappointment (I read your note about the factory seal failing on the pan and decided to test it) the factory seal failed. Also, when I removed the oil drain plug, the welds on the plug threads broke and the nut fell off the pan. Needless to say, it’s all put together now, but I will have to remove the steel pan again to weld the plug but back on next oil change.
