The shoes I bought developed a problem after one wear. The soles of both shoes came away at the toes. Not USC's fault I realise. However the return procedure was not as smooth as other online retailers I've used. The website says to return faulty items at your own cost. I contacted USC to ask for a prepaid returns label. I was told to post the shoes back and email a photo of the receipt for postage to have the cost refunded. Which I did. No refund for the original delivery cost was offered or given. I was offered a cheque for the £3.90 postage (which would take 10 days to process) or a £6 e-voucher. I accepted the e-voucher and ordered an alternative pair of shoes and once again had to pay £4.99 for delivery. Ultimately I am a few quid down on the deal. Not to mention the length of time taken to wait for replies to emails. Not gold standard customer service in my opinion merely acceptable.
