I had an order delivered to store which I collected and took home. Upon opening the parcel, the first item I pulled out was scrunched up in the parcel and very dirty.
I liked the jumper itself and decided to try it on. Inside the pocket was a security tag, in two parts, with a very sharp pin like end poking through the jumper. I didn’t know this was there until it cut me and actually drew blood. I find this absolutely disgusting especially as I subsequently emailed customer services and received and received a pretty much blanket email reply. No mention of anything to do with the security tag which is dangerous!! The email also stated the refund of the delivery charge to collect the order in store (yes, a delivery charge to collect the order in store). I’m appalled and expected more than an aloof template email.
It’s very disappointing because I was really impressed with the reputable branded items on the website I hadn’t even considered the quality, care and customer service would be so poor. I was also aware prior to placing my order that I would be responsible for return postage (as items returned to store and exchange or credit only?!) and I felt this was a risk I was willing to take as I’m familiar with majority of the brands I ordered. Unfortunately I was let down by USC rather than the brands they sell.
