I have a Shark Model UV422 vacuum that required a new lower floor hose, as the original had split. There are plenty of Shark vacuum hoses available on Amazon and eBay, but none of those places had the hose for this particular model of Shark. Those hoses were either too small in diameter or too large. The local vacuum repairman in my town said he couldn't find the part to repair my vacuum either. Fortunately, I have a son who is an aerospace engineer who sources parts everywhere for his job. Charlie assured me he could find the part I needed, and he did, on Vacuums R US. Once I had the right part, the repair went quickly and I saved my favorite vacuum was spared from the landfill.
