I was a bit disappointed with the length of each pendant arm on this. They are very short, so the shades sit very close to the stand. I know it looks a bit like that in the photo, but I thought it was the angle the photo was taken from and that the arms were slightly longer and would arch over a chair a bit more for reading. However, the style suits our 60s house so we’re keeping it. I think I’ll be spraying the shades a brighter yellow, as they are more a buttery yellow and I want a pop of colour. Otherwise, well made and with a very useful foot switch.
