This my review of my experience during my transaction with Vandsdirect. On the initial the sales person was very helpful as you would expect sales man to be, he requested a deposit to be paid, which I would say is normal practice. The transaction was then transferred another team, which seemed a bit strange to me as I've purchased vehicle before and the sales person stayed with the sale from start to finish. The team seemed to be no rush to supply my vehicle although I was buying the vehicle outright, I was asked to pay the balance and that they had 10 days to supply my vehicle. With no confirmed delivery day I refused and informed Vansdirect that I would be paying the full price, without a delivery date but would consider paying the balance a day or two before my vehicle is delivered. On Friday 9 September, I was informed delivery would be made on the 14 Sept. The balance was paid on the 9 September. On delivery of the vehicle I notice the vehicle was quite dirty, and when I questioned the driver, his answer was the vehicle was sitting awaiting pickup from the docks. I suspect the vehicle was purchased through a third party. The vehicle itself is as described and the purchasing process wasn't too stressing. Vansdirect may wish to consider some of the points below:- • The sale should be handled by one sales person • Balance of payment should be expected on delivery • Speed up delivery for cash buyers • Make sure the vehicle is clean when it arrives to the client.
