I had ordered a set of rear lights for my wifes T5, to get it ready for a festive break. I was sent two drivers side lights instead of a set.
Upon contacting them i was sent an automated royal mail returns link which was very convenient & easy to use. I also emphasised the time constraint i had which is exacerbated with high demand on couriers. They said they will dispatch a replacement as soon as i handed over one of the lights to royal mail.
Within 10 minutes of this correspondence, i emailed them stating that i am sending the item back imminently to which i got no reply.
I had to chase them up the next day to enquire if a replacement had been despatched yet, they said i had to send them proof of despatch. I was told their email states that i need to send them proof, which it absolutely does not. I assumed their automated returns process was able to be accessed by them, i also emailed them as & when i despatched the item to make sure they were aware.
The initial mistake & poor communication & attentiveness afterwards was & is infuriating. The attitude shown was completely nonchalant & they would not be bothered to reply to me twice.
Judging by other reviews, it seems this sort of thing is a rare occurrance but i have no confidence in Vee Dub transporters. The replacement has yet to arrive and i am keeping my fingers crossed that i get the correct light eventually.
