We have an RV and regularly being the bikes on our trip. We have in the past lost a bike, my youngest in the middle of Nebraska. Going with the Velocirax 5 has been a significant upgrade. Number 1, the kids can load and unload the bike is a huge effort savings for me on the travel days. Same is true during the winter, we have the rack on the garage wall and helps with the clutter in the garage. I believe it has been well worth the upgrade from the 5x Thule…didn’t lose a bike this year, much less stress on travel days.
