Using the rack is very intuitive. Having previously used roof racks and more standard hitch mount hanging carriers and trays, this is far and away the most secure my bikes have felt on a vehicle. The greatest benefit, though, is that I can hang six bikes and with only minor finagling, remove any single bike without upsetting the bunch. Life changing.
