I've had the 5X for a few months now and have gotten some good use out of it both for long hauls and shuttle laps. I like how solid the rack is even with a full load of enduro bikes. I also like that I can bring both my gravel and mountain bikes on it. I think that the spacing is about perfect for shuttling, cause it is not too hard to pull or load bikes out of order. I am glad I got the wider spacing, especially for shuttling. I really like using it for storing bikes in the garage when not on the back of my car. I can fit more bikes in the same space than just with hooks. I use it with an Audi Q7.
