The Velocirax was recommended to me by a friend of mine who also has a family of 6. So far, I have used it to transport my kids/teen’s bikes twice on longer trips. Although my husband loaded the rack on and off my minivan both times, I was able to load and unload the bikes on my own. I am 5’4” and could use some work on my upper body strength, but I didn’t have any issues. I look forward to going on a trip where we need to take all 6 of our bikes.
