Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with this rack. Flimsy design, excessive movement in the pivot, and hoops that damage rims and tires. I've had mine for a season and a half and have bent 3/5 of the hoops during normal use, which led to dropped bikes and damage. Velocirax also decided that the warranty was voided by being on a swing-away hitch, which is the only solution for my camper. Not the rack for me, or for someone who intends to put some miles on gravel/dirt roads!
