Somebody had a good idea for a business for people who want to sightsee without carrying large bags or luggage around DC. Once you proceed with booking and designate a general area (close to X metro stop), they provide you with a map with several options. I left my bag at a small business near the National Mall where it was perfectly safe for the day.
