The service was fine but I think it's a little greasy to charge per item even when the two items are small. If one item can sit on top of the other (like a shopping bag or small box) and both items together are smaller than a full-size suitcase, you might consider being a little more flexible. Rent in NY is about space, and the charge per item rule comes off as an unjustifiable hustle.
