Booked a tour thru Viator. The booking went thru and our credit card was accepted with no problem.
Then, less than 48 hours before the tour, we got an aggressive email from Viator claiming we had used our card fraudulently and cancelling the tour.
When we protested that they should then refund our payment they claimed that we had not been charged because the payment was fraudulent: yet it appears on my CC statement. I shall be taking this up with our bank when we get home.
