This villa is set in a rural village surrounded by woodland. The villa was easy to find, with great instructions. This is a very tranquill setting for those wishing to escape a busy life. The villa is not too far away from a small village and a great restaurant nearby called La Luna, which we highly recommend. Think we ate there about 5 times during our stay! The villa itself is beautiful. The bedrooms are all of a great size, beautifully presented with lots of space. We had an open plan dining kitchen to the lounge, with sliding doors to the patio and pool area. There is an outside kitchen too, with folding sliding doors to the outside dining space. This has an open BBQ, pizza oven, sandwich, pannini toasters etc-it's all very equiped, oodles of glasses and cutlery, pans etc. There are plenty of towels and beach towels, very comfortable sunbeds and salt water heated pool. The gardens and terrace are beautifully maintained, which is a haven for any guest. There is a wine cllar, where you can choose your wine to complement your food. There is a sauna and a power massage shower, which none of us got around to using. Davor, the owner was so welcoming and greeted us with a charuterie board and some traditional sweet biscuits with a taste of local wine and short drinks-these were all perfect. There is a comprehensive folder taking you through everything you need to know about the villa, location and what is available locally. This was really helpful, as the local maps helped us to identify what we would like to do. The villa has lots of character, all the bathrooms are fitted to a high standard and nothing was a problem for the owner. We would definitely recommend staying in this villa as it met everything we could have wished for. I would also stay here again in the future.
