The dog we brought with us, which was accepted by htg when booking (we had the voucher in our hand), was the irrational trigger for the unexcused gaffes by her employee Ana Bonjolo, alias VIP concierge. We have never experienced humiliation on such a scale before. We have been booking vacations with dogs for decades; anything else is out of the question for us. If mistakes happen within agencies, they should not be communicated to guests over and over again by slipping words. There was something bullying about it. such as B.

thank you for taking the time to write your review. Once again we would love to thank you for staying with us with your family and we hope you enjoyed Villa Adria View I.
We are sorry about your bad experience but we are also sad that your review and complaint are addressed to VIP Holiday Booker and our agents. As you already wrote you made the booking through Home to go booking portal and not with us so we can not be responsible for the wrong pet policy. We tried to contact you before your arrival to arrange the check-in details, but we didn't receive any response from you. We have also never been informed you will be bringing a dog with you. If we were, we would have informed you that this villa has a strict no-pet policy. On the day of your arrival, the owner of the villa, whom we represent directly, contacted us and demanded to inform you that your dog is not allowed to stay. He said warm words about you and your family but demanded your dog to leave. Our agent was just a messenger in this case, representing the best interests of the villa owner and staying at your disposal.
Luckily, the housekeeper Maja who you met in person at the villa was your mediator and begged the owner to make an exception for you so you could stay as planned.
We understand you were not happy to read our message and notice about the pet policy, but also you should have been aware that the intention of bringing the dog must be announced in advance.
Also, we would like to point out that although you booked through another portal, we run the bookings for this villa and always contact our guests directly prior to their arrival.
Villa Adria View I where you stayed has a heated pool, but the pool heating is not functional in December and January because of very low outdoor temperatures. Even when it is turned on to the maximum temperature the water cannot be heated pleasantly for swimming because the pool is open and too big.
We hope the rest of your experience was pleasant and that you enjoyed villa amenities, the local area, and Christmas time in Dalmatia.
