“I rated the stay in the rented "villa" 3/5 because it's definitely not a VIP option. I'll start with the good sides of this property - it's spacious, well-equipped, very close to the sea (literally 3 minutes away) and has its own garage. However, it's worth mentioning the downsides - we were greeted by a person who doesn't speak English. Mario, although very kind, was unable to show us around the property and provide all the necessary information. We were handed two remote controls, and that was it. The building has a terrible GSM signal and very weak wifi. On the ground floor, in good spots, you can catch a signal for a moment, but it drops soon after. If you're thinking of working and need stable internet, it's definitely not here. I have many complaints about the cleanliness of the villa itself. The pool was a disaster. The building is located right next to the road, slightly below, so leaves, insects, etc. always fall into the pool. This is, of course, inevitable, but there was no net provided to fish out these impurities. There's also no way to cover the pool when it's not in use, so you always have to clean it. The bed in the largest bedroom smells of vomit on the left side, and the bathroom has a broken fan, which was hastily taped up.”

“Delightful setting for a family holiday, the pool, sun terraces & gardens were enjoyed by everyone. Villa was spotlessly clean & well equipped . Sorry to say that we did have some concerns: No information booklet supplied so it was difficult to find things eg only located security box on 6th day, couldn't find table tennis bats & ball , not familiar with recycling bins. Didn't know that there were cupboards which opened either side of the fish tank. Kitchen area full of ants, in drawers & cupboards. Curtains in bedroom upstairs had no hooks at each side, when pulled on gap at either side let light into room. Bedrooms on lower ground floor smelt of damp, also damp patch on ceiling. Windows had no blinds / curtains, used foil to block out the light. Waterfall feature in pool not working. Pillows on beds not at all comfy. It was lovely to be able to walk to the beach, restaurants & shops.”

“Fee's they charge for villa abit expensive get villa cheaper on other sites or direct I found.but communication was good always good reponse.should mention hills in description of villa to get up to it so for other people”

“The Vila is not for 10 people. But for 8 and 2 children. It never said so. We explicitly said there were 10 adults coming but were misled and notified of this upon arrival. For the heating of the pool you have to pay extra but I do not recommend it as it was said it was going to be 25 degrees but it was more like 21. All in all good amenities but were not pleasef with our sleeping arrangement.”

“Barbara was supposed to meet us at check in but she was out of the country and available only by phone and text. Melita from housekeeping let us in but did not give us an overview of the house. We were able to figure most things out on our own, but it would have been helpful to have someone to orient us when we arrived. Barbara was quick to respond to our discovery of several issues with the interior and exterior of the house on the first day. The WIFI was a real problem with several of us needing to work remotely. We had everyone turn off phones/equipment if they weren't working but it didn't seem to help. Some of us had to work with laptops on the floor sitting next to the router to get service. We would not have rented this property if we had known this in advance. We did appreciate the well equipped kitchen. Thank-you, Macy Helminiak”

We are also sorry to learn that you were unhappy with the total experience due to the issues with the WiFi connection. We are also sorry that during your stay the weather was not perfect, and that the storm on the first day caused damage outdoors including broken glass. It was fixed the very next day. Thank you also for confirming that Mrs. Barbara was quick to respond and always at her disposal. It means a lot. Mrs. Barbara also confirmed she sent a detailed overview and instructions for the villa. Unfortunately, she was not able to meet you in person due to family obligations but she arranged for her close associate Melita to meet you and hand over the keys to you. We gave our best to solve the issue with wireless internet during your stay. As soon as you reported that the internet bandwidth speed was slow for your family members who worked remotely, Mrs. Barbara arranged additional router to be delivered to the villa. We have never had complaints about internet speed so far, even from IT developers who stayed at the villa recently for a team building trip. We believe that issue with WiFi during your stay was connected to bad weather and storms in the area. We hope the rest of your experience was pleasant and that you enjoyed villa amenities, the local area, and trips to restaurants and wineries. All our team members who were in direct communication with you shared positive feedback and we would be very happy to host you and your family again in one of our villas. “The location was perfect. A short walk to the beach and several eateries. With a little more thought this place could rate a 4 or 5 star. Bedding was underwhelming. Old sheets, clean, and a poor top blanket that had holes. Ned pillows were hard and not enough of them. No toiletries like Shampoo or soap. A number of stone tiles came off one of the living room walls. Pool a had a under water light hanging out of the socket in the pool. Has barbecue hidden away. Found the clothes washer for the downstairs apartment hidden in an outdoor closet in the back of the house. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay with 6 adults and 3 children. Just a little added care with details such as described above would go a long way to a making a stay here perfect for families.”

“Hallo We had a lovely time on Hvar, and the house was very nice. But was disappointed with the host. They arrived every morning to collect garbage watering the garden and we felt they were controlling us. Three cats were around the house begging for food all the time. One picture was several sunbeds also in iron those we had for disposal were in wood and several of them in a bad shape. There was no parasole as the picture showed. The outside shower was barely water in. We had looked forward to pick vegetables in the garden but there was nothing. There were 6 bicycles, not 8. The experience with Vip Holyday is very good !!!!! “Ana was very helpful and booked us restaurants, boat trip and transfer from airport. However the price of the transfer and boat trip was a lot higher than if we’d sorted it ourselves. For example we paid €60 for transfer from the airport but later by Uber it cost us €10. I know you pay extra for the service but that’s a big difference. My main feedback is that the company need to be more accurate in their description. We definitely needed a hire car as the beach was 250m away but it was up a very steep hill. We were told Okrug was 15 mins walk away - actually it was 30 mins. Trogir was not just a few minutes in the car but actually a 15 mins drive. So we needed a car to go anywhere. Finally there needs to be a clearer definition of roles between the villa owner and the company. We were met on arrival by the owner who told us he could have picked us up from the airport for free and organised a boat trip at a better rate but we had already paid up front for those services, which was frustrating.”

“A good overall experience only to be hampered by hot tub not in working condition especially when outside weather isn’t that good and cannot use outside pool and jacuzzi. I was counting on inside hot tub only to be disappointed.”
