They claimed this was for insurance, even though I already had my own. When I tried to cancel the reservation, they charged me a $60 cancellation fee. This was a horrible experience, especially since I arrived at night, alone, and the location wasn't even at the airport—it was nearby. I had to return to the airport and get an Uber. This ordeal was not only financially draining but also incredibly stressful. I hope others can avoid such a nightmare by being extra cautious when dealing with car rental companies.
