It is impossible to speak to a real person outside office hours. I live outside the UK and needed assistance with a transaction - had to wait 12 hours. Their login protections are ridiculously overprotective - had to submit either a password or a OTP six times to allow me to transfer money - and then they stopped the payment without any explanation. Banking is time-sensitive! These people are in the dark ages. I will be closing my account and sending a complaint to the banking ombudsman.
