I have filled up an online application for my husband to travel to Egypt and it was very clear that he is an Egyptian with Canadian Passport and since his Egyptian Ids were expired he will need to apply for an entry visa for only 3 weeks and there were questionnaire as part of the application asking is this is a first time to Egypt and what nationality he is and so on so forth so the visa clerk will be able to figure out what visa entry he would need in this case and they charged us $111 and asked to receive a copy of the Canadian passport and mentioned that the visa is in the process, they knew the travel date which is 19th of Aug and that my husband booked his ticket and in the same day of the flight night they sent an email to him saying that they won't be able to issue him the visa as he will need to change his flight date and that was too late to say that as he was boarding already and when he told them he is boarding now they said back sorry but your visa will take about 7 business days to be issued and that they will do their best to get it done by the date of the arrival to Egypt which is Aug 21st morning then they sent another email saying that they did all researches and found out that since he is an Egyptian citizen already he can take an entry visa at the airport upon arrival for $25 only and they refunded the amount and deducted 50% of the procesing fees which is about $40 with no proper explanarions and when I raised the issue to one of the visa counsellors the answer was very negative saying that this is procedure and that they won't be able to refund the full amount and I see it a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!! which definately would not recommend anyone to take the risk and trust these guys to process their visa becuase there going to be a hidden cost involved.
