I did get my Visa in time for my trip. But there were multiple computer problems and I could not reach a human being on the phone or by email. First I left voicemail and no one called back. Then I got hung up on without voicemail after being on hold. No one helped me. The passport ended up getting sent to Dallas, Texas rather than Los Angeles where I live, be ause the computer set my home state to Alabama and would not be edited, resulting in the printing label coming out wrong. A nice manager in Texas finally called me after the Dallas Chinese consulate rejected my passport. I told him I had been double charged for the visa service. He advised that it should only be raised after I receive the passport back safely, in case someone thinks the whole order is being cancelled, which it was not. He charged then refunded overnight shipping back to Los Angeles. Now I can’t reach a human being again about the double charge and have to dispute it through my credit card company.
