Vodacom's customer service system is appalling and highly ineffective. With an ongoing problem you end up having to explaining the SAME problem over and over again to different people every time you follow up. When the person you spoke to initially doesn't do the thing they said they were going to do, you end up completely stuck, with no proof of your conversation. There is nothing ever put in writing. This is not fun for either their customers or their employees who have to spend time figuring out your problem from scratch each time and endure your increasingly growing wrath.
