My WhatsApp account was recently hacked. The hacker is out there using my number to get people that are in my contacts to send an ewallet or cash send to the number.. Vodacom has refused to block the vodacom umber because they say that number has been inactive for years since I've been using the number for WhatsApp only. However, the hacker is using that number to con people and receive ewallet and cash send via sms. So now this person has been busy for almost a week. The Vodacom Fraud department has not responded to the email I was told to send after being advised by the Vodacom customer care line. Their Fraud department is useless.they don't even answer the calls. I'm ready to change networks after a lifetime of knowing just Vodacom as my network.
