I think the trading standards need to look into Vodafone stores, as I was sold a phone and after a week the plastic started warping in a curve after it had been on charge. I went to the Swindon store thinking they knew people had consumer rights and would change it for me, and he was really rude, saying I must have sat on it, when plastic doesn't bend like that without breaking by sitting on it. I said that I didn't sit on it, and then he said I must have done it another way such as putting it in a bag and all they would do is send it away and I would have to pay for it.
I was quite upset how a company I had been with for so long treated me like that and thought it might have been a one off bad assistant, so went to the Chippenham store. That assistant also talked to me like an idiot. He also didn't know people have consumer rights and told me I would have to pay for a faulty phone to be fixed. Now the screen has come away from the back with a big gap and is starting to crack. They will probably tell me soon that it's too late to do anything. All I can think of doing now is contacting trading standards.
