I use Volumio with a Raspberry Pi 3b+ and external USB DAC (SMSL M100 MkII) and a JustBoom SPDIF DigiHAT. Setup was easy(ish) if you can find your way around computers. Sound quality and connection are good via Airplay/BT/Ethernet. Tried out the trial with 'Tidal' Integration which worked fine but waiting on Tidal Connect before pulling the trigger on MyVolumio Virtuoso. Overall a highly recommended product with the bonus of Spotify Connect for free
