Have a budget TEAC UDH01 Dac that I like and is good quality albeit not sought after due to it's age....+ no streaming capabilities.
My 10 year old LENOVO laptop (WINDOWS 7) was the source of the TEAC and problematic and it was virtually impossible to install W10 onto the laptop. I installed VOLUMIO and voila Magique > the TEAC DAC runs problem-free and sounds awesome w/VOLUMIO interface. Definitely well designed and engineered software.
