I ordered a bunch of polyurethane 5lb plates and they are wonderful. A bit larger diameter than my other-brand rubber grip plates but not enough to be an issue. The one drawback is that they do not have a metal ring in the center so they grab the barbell sleeve a little bit which makes load/unload a little slower than other plates. But not a huge issue (buys me more time to rest!)
