Thus far I’ve been very impressed with the performance of this Vulcan strength Ox Trap Bar. I was at first a tad weary of the knurling, I thought it was a tad passive for my liking. However, my mind has changed once I threw some weight on it for use, the knurling gets a nice bite in your palms. At the current sale price of $499 ($180 off) with free shipping… this bar is hard to beat! Packaging was damaging, I was nervous the bar may have been damage by freight, however once this box was opened… I was extremely happy to see how well it was packed and not even a scuff anywhere. Assembly… took a matter of 5 minutes per side (mainly because I was taking pictures). Absolutely no issues handling heavy weight (deadlifted 428 with this already) and the built in bar jack is amazing. Easily lift the load up to the stand with one hand with 400+ loaded on the bar, extremely stable!
