I have owned this set for about a year and a half now and I must say that I'm very impressed with the quality of both the bar and the plates. I shopped around quite a bit before deciding to go with Vulcan and I'm very happy I did. The inserts have held up quite well and show no signs of damage or loosening. One thing I really like about these is that they bounce dead, even when dropping from overhead there is little to no rebound with these bumpers. I highly recommend Vulcan, I'd be surprised if you can find better quality equipment for the price.
