I am very pleased with my recent purchase of Black Vulcan 35 lb bumper plates. The quality was immediately apparent when comparing them to the Troy VTX plates that I also own. They have a slimmer profile and the bounce is a lot less pronounced than that of the VTX's. I'm sold, I will be buying more as soon as I can fit them into the budget. I have my eyes on a pair of Black 55's.
