The only problem I had was one of the plates was a bit too snug due to the steel insert, but they sent a new plate without issue just a few days later. That should tell you that these plates don't have any wiggle room, which is great, it'll keep your bar and plates in better condition longer. The dead bounce really is a dead bounce. There's not much bounce to these at all. The bar doesn't roll around on the mat before a pull like some other plates cause either. I can't account for the durability since I've only had them a few weeks but so far so good. They seem very sturdy and durable so we'll see. I'll update if anything about them change.
