Black straps and silver snaps - need I say more? The velcro lining on the inside of the filler bags was a particularly nice touch that has ensured the contents of the bag stay put. No mess! I also second the company's recommendation of pea gravel for the bag filler. The outer shell is very durable and the handles well-constructed and comfortable. The bag material doesn't scratch skin up as much as other sandbag designs often do. The only change to the design that could really add to the overall appearance of the sandbag is to use the color Vulcan logo so it doesn't look so flat. Perhaps make it lager as well. Overall, I am very pleased with the Vulcan Sandbag because the company clearly paid attention to the details and addressed a lot design issues commonly found in other training sandbags. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is serious about their strength and fitness training!
