Vulcan Strength Training Systems continually impresses me. They have been my go-to fitness equipment source for close to 3 years now and I haven't ever been disappointed with any of their products. I'm especially happy with their Olympic barbells and bumper plates. Vulcan's ever-expanding barbell line is evidence that the company takes customer feedback very seriously. With each new bar, Vulcan provides new specifications and improved designs to their customers to suit everyone's needs. Quality is never sacrificed with Vulcan's innovation. I absolutely love lifting with my Vulcan V3 Elite and although I have zero complaints about my Vulcan Professional Bearing Barbell, I know that more recent versions of this model boasts fine-tuned design improvements. Smooth spin, the right texture of knurling, an appreciable balance of shaft whip and rigidity, and top-notch quality overall. I have trained and competed with a number of Vulcan bumper plates. The Vulcan color kilogram training plates are of excellent quality and can really take a beating and hardly bouce when dropped. Myself and other weightlifters are especially pleased with the quality of the 10kg training bumper plate. The Vulcan Absolute Competition Bumper Plates are truly an impressive looking set. They load/unload with ease, and fit together tightly on the bar. The complete competiton set doesn't budge when loaded and tightened correctly. I have yet to see any physical breakdown of these plates after extensive use. My favorite set of bumper plates is most definitely the Vulcan Alpha Bumper Plates. This particular product is a fine example of true innovation. The unique and original rubber composition addresses both the noise and bouce problem many weightlifters/athletes encounter while training. The Alphas are everything Vulcan says they are. They will not disappoint. The other items I use reguarly from Vulcan - such as strength bands, sandbags, slam balls, muscle floss to name a few - are also of excellent quality. I honestly would recommend every product Vulcan offers! I also want to mention Vulcan's great customer service. They are easily reachable and make sure customer needs are met. I don't think a single question I directed at their personnell ever went unanswered which really is a positive reflection of Vulcan Strength. They remain relevant in the weightlifting/cross fit/fitness world even though they are a small business (which is no small feat). Vulcan truly owns what they do.
