Bottom line up front: I like the weights and will purchase more from Vulcan. Bought the 260# set of Alpha bumpers about one year ago and have really enjoyed using them. They’ve held up well to Deadlifts on a bare concrete floor (which you’d hope and expect). Initial odor dissipated quickly. Seem to indeed have less bounce than other bumpers I have used in the past, but I have no proof. Weights from a bathroom scale:
