Made a special visit to Waitrose to buy their much advertised Christmas
Chocolate & Sour Cherry Mince Pies .... so so disappointed, they do not resemble a mince pie in any way but the shape.
More a round chocolate cherry shortcake , no unctious cherry filling in the proportions that would normally be expected in a trad mince pie, and overall a dry over sweet eat.
