The wrong necklace turned up. For my wife to celebrate our 20 year anniversary I order the Boh Runga Miro feather necklace ($203) What arrived and I presented to my wife (I had left wrapped up under the incorrect assumption that the blue box contained the item requested) was the micro version. My wife feigned delight but I was underwhelmed. Later that day my wife checked the hint she had sent me and pointed out i had order the full size necklace and received the micro. She chased up getting it all sorted. The W&H staff member she dealt with was sympathetic and apologetic and posted the correct item and return bag etc. No apology card, no gift,
Most of the previous jewellery I have purchased for my wife I have had made. This experience with W&H has confirmed that future jewellery will be purchased from trusted manufacturers rather than via an unreliable online source.
