Had the mats put down and did not feel any real warmth. Rolled the mats up and there was heat. NO WHERE in the instructions does it mention that rolling up the mats and turning them on could damage them!! I found this out through a representative. She said that they are radiant and sense when the floor is there. So now I won't really know until the floor is actually down. The resistance measures OK
