This was my first foray into builing a container water garden and I certainly had... questions. The short version: I wanted to turn a small Cor-Ten planter into a container that would hold water and that could be planted with small aquatic plants. I sent a query to Water Garden via email and honestly didn't expect to ever hear back or, if I did, to just get a fairly canned response. Instead, I got a phone call the next day from someone who was very knowledgeable and happy to chat with me about how best to achieve what I wanted. Understanding the pros and cons of different approaches gave me the confidence to go ahead and build the thing (see photos). The Gold Label paint is now curing and I'm hoping to start filling the planter with water in the next week. Based on the nature of the advice given I expect this to be a success (despite my middling DIY skills) and I really appreciated the time that they took to talk me through the options: it's looking good already and will look great when filled.
