Our driver was waiting for us as we exited airport luggage area despite our late arrival. It was very helpful that we had seen a photo of him, and he of us, prior to arrival.
He had been born in US and lived there a number of years so had an excellent command of English. He supplied us with cold bottled water for the drive to the port, which was much appreciated.
He was very helpful in suggestions of what we might want to see and do while in Athens, and gave us good tips on costs and access to sights.
